Allegedly A Thief
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Ego driven.
Narcissistic.
Vain.
And...
Allegedly a criminal.
Corrupted from head to toe.
Although,
Deceptively charming.
Attracting crowds.
With a capability to even have bees,
Swarm to hives.
In the midst of falling Winter snow.
Done to forget which season,
When to begin pollinating flowers.
Nowhere seen to bloom and grow.
This,
Is the mysteriousness...
Of how someone proven,
With known to show evidence and proof.
No matter what they say or do,
Those who follow and allow to be duped.
Could care less,
If their entitled way of life once enjoyed.
Disappears before their very eyes.
To witness and observe,
A destroying no one deserves and yet...
Applaud they do the doing without regret.
As long as this culprit they pick and select,
Addresses an image.
Fictioned to imitate a faking they accept.
That represents the perfection to delude,
The quality and its wholesomeness...
Is theirs to declare without them.
To include.
Anywhere.
Somewhere there.
Over a fictitious rainbow held to behold.
If everyone stays with kept imagination,
Defending to protect being Bluebirds.
Flying to incredible heights.
Holding tight onto the string of kites.
Until all wishes and dreams,
Are seen to come true.
With faith.
Donating,
Hope and every dollar of charity to give.
From pockets emptied.
To someone ego driven.
Narcissistic.
Vain.
Allegedly a criminal.
A taught thief from birth to teach,
Skills of corruption from head to toe.
Smiling.
Portraying Mona Lisa!
Although,
Deceptively charming.
With the ability to attract,
Applauding to hear the cheers of people...
Hypnotized.
Attracted.
Entertained out of their conscious minds!
Losing common sense.
Blinded.
Gone from sight no longer to find.
'That smile of his is ambiguous.'
'Either way,
Who really knows...
What's behind those eyes.
Giving just a hint,
Of juvenile wickedness!
How adorable is his lust for power.
Trusted.
To be just for us.
Suffering alone such injustices condoned.'
