Displaced

I searched my soul and mind
Aimlessly for a human face
All the echoes came back
The message was short and true
They all have been displaced and permanently replace
Where is the reference
Where is the broken compass

Looked for love and compassion
Feed lies and stories opaque
Weaved by minds which only knew hate and deceit

Wow, the emotions conveyed in this poem are so strong and evocative. The imagery of searching for a human face and finding only echoes is really powerful. The theme of displacement and replacement is haunting and thought-provoking.

To improve the poem, consider adding more specific details or examples to deepen the reader's connection to the emotions and experiences being described. Also, playing with the structure or rhythm of the poem could enhance its impact even more. Keep up the great work and continue to explore and refine your poetic voice!
