Still the children cry.

Still, the children cry.

I can hear the children crying in the middle of the night. They whisper in my ears the things I fear and never want to hear. They're here from the past to ask me to help them at last.  Furthermore, They all told me a story of being dropped off by there parents in a vast, dark field. They were small, like dwarfs. What can I do, or what have I done? I'm lost. One boy took my hand so that I might understand. He told me you helped us a long time ago, fed us, and changed us 100 years ago. We came to thank you, and we know we must go. We all love you, and we will never let go. Now, I know, and I will never let them go. They  are in my heart and soul.
