Call to Home

I've never really felt quite at home
Been looking for a place that feels right
Roamin streets, hoping one calls my name
Around the world and no place to settle
Always feeling like another step will get me there
Lookin in the mirror and I can't recognize my self
Down in my chest, a heart beats longing
At what point do I call it quits
All I want is a place where I feel I belong
I can't remember the last time I felt at home
See what it's like to be content

Painted in my mind is a land unknown
Faces of friends I've never met
Fill my lungs with a foreign air
The light is an illusion of my subconscious
Places so far away call to me
I lose my footing and slip away from them
Can't I just feel what home is like
Reach out to me, lost friends, lost home
