Made To Look Easy

Disappointed are many young.
Made to see done easy on TV.
Has little or nothing to endeavor the effort,
Of applying initiative.
And discipline with patience.
To tolerate what it takes.
For a dream wanted wished.
Without anticipating,
Being motivated by incentive...
Is miraculously given and handed to them.

To sacrifice is a part of life.
Many young complain,
Of not having that kind of time to waste.
With a growing older and heard to say,
Others to achieve and receive success...
Had been luckier than they were.
Although nowhere did they observe to see,
A nonstopping determination.
Done to do for them their very best.
To leave behind criticism easily to find.
Coming out of the mouths of the ones,
Passing judgement.
From the comfort of a chair or couch.
Claiming they can do much better.
Than someone seen on TV.
Knowing nothing about doing...
Getting done what it takes.
To get up off their butts.
Deciding to make that decision made.
Regardless of the time others spend.
Claiming what they can do.
Without proof or evidence of an attempt,
To at least become pleased.
No matter who may disbelieve,
Their accomplishments to be documented!

'I saw that 'dude' the other day.
And he said nothing to me,
About his activities.'

'Maybe he did.
Not everyone who achieves success,
Seeks attention to be acknowledged.'

'Then...
What's the point?'

'Well...
Believe it or not,
Some seek popularity.
And others love what they do.
To eventually be noticed,
For keeping their mouths closed about it!'

'But...
What about the young people?
Who may someday,
Want to follow in his footsteps!'

'Oh...
You mean,
The young folks today?
Who already know,
What it takes to achieve?
While listening to you,
Telling them to ignore someone like him!?
That makes a lot of sense.'

'I...
Huh?
What?'
