The country fair.

The country fair.

It's so noisy at the fair, but all my friends are here. There's a girl down the aisle; she turns to me and smiles. As I find her hidden note, I can hear the word she wrote. So we go under the stairs, and she gives me a glare. We had our first cigarette. Then she has to leave to go home, which leaves me all alone. All the clouds are in the air, but she is not really here. So it's back. I go to the fair to stay with all my friends that are still there. Then there she stands, and she takes me by hand. Now I understand. Then I give her a kiss on her soft sweet lip as we walk over to the bandstand. I feel Grand.

What a beautiful and nostalgic poem about the magic of the country fair! I love the imagery of the bustling fairgrounds and the sense of camaraderie with friends. The way you capture the fleeting moments of connection and emotion is truly touching.

One suggestion for improvement could be to expand on the emotions and experiences of the speaker and the girl at the fair. Delving deeper into their thoughts and feelings could make the connection between the two characters even more poignant and relatable to readers. Additionally, adding more sensory details to bring the fair to life even more vividly could enhance the overall atmosphere of the poem.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'The country fair' and appreciate the way it evokes a sense of nostalgia and longing. Keep up the great work!
