Life Goes On

Every night I think of you,
From the love I carry in my heart.
Always asking what I must do,
I wasn't good enough from start.

I tell myself that you don't care,
Everyday my heart finds more despair.
And in the end I'm left with nothing,
But for the feelings that you don't share.

All the time I dream of you,
It's always the saddest thing for me.
Though I dream of happiness,
I know it can not be.

Then everday you say we're friends,
And I pray for the pain to end.

God hears my prayers, though no sign comes,
