Tall Tales are Sour Grapes

Oskar

Reality reminiscent of sour grapes,
tall tales a golden parfait,
inflicted with septic obsession,
our lives unnaturally flavored,
a taste alien to the tongue,
the dessert we call dreams trumps
 the bitterness of truth,
making us fat on hope
 while wasting away in youth.
