Unfair
you came into the world with me wrapped around your finger
you fit into my hands like a song can to a singer
and i was a Titan warring for your causes
staring in your bubble and weeping for your losses
this isn't all there is life is like a martyr
sometimes you have to drown to really get to know the water
and i know it'll pass , the the clouds will go away and and your troubles will have travelled -to another world where it turns into a shadow and keeps the rain from falling on everything that's battered
who knew you'd be so strong that it seemed i didn't mateer at all
this isn't all there is life is like a martyr sometimes you have to drown to really get to know the water
you opened your eyes for the first time i think and i cried into my hands because you recognized the good in me
a grain of sand in an endless sea insignificant beside the miracle you are to me
you see, you were so impatient, you ;ll never know that you killed me a hundred thousand times
so this life is unfair but you never complained because god is good
a champion you've endured more than i ever could
a small heartbeat in my hands how will i ever be enough?
it'd take a thousand daddies to replace me because you are so loved
a grain of sand in an endless sea.
you are what's left of me.
