Therapeutic
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Therapeutic these days have become.
For the many,
Finding their lives to live peaceful.
Knowing truth pursued,
No longer needs to be defended.
And followed most of their lives.
To reminisce this realized...
Having been called,
Mavericks, nonconformists...
And crazed lunatics.
To feel today flattered.
Goose bump thrilled.
By the ones,
Whose shells have been cracked.
With no light to appear,
In attics detached.
Loosened from foundations.
Foundations!
Observed crumbling into pieces.
Gone unnoticed,
By the ones...
Vacant with available space,
Between both ears.
Needing desparately...
Immediate occupancy.
Yet...
This advice and suggestion given,
Is not taken seriously...
As wise to at least try,
And make attempts to see...
Standing away and outside,
Of themselves.
That 'something',
Has been permitted...
To remove the rooftop,
Of a home where souls dwell.
As a dumping of tons of dust...
Upon whoever resides inside.
Appararently vacationing,
In 'NEVERLAND'.
And given free passes.
To stay for as long as they wish.
Even if that visit,
Should be determined permanent!
'The structure,
And...
Maybe,
The appearance of the home...
Can be possibly salvaged.
However...
There could be permanent damage,
To the contents!'
'Don't worry about that assessment.
Those contents have been damaged,
Long before the occupants...
Decided to replace its identity,
For pretentious impressions to make!'
'I don't follow!'
'And thank God you didn't too!
