My name is Jeanette Barnes and I am a passionate and creative professional with diverse interests and skills. I was born in Greenville, NC in 1969. I have a Masters in Health Administration and a certification in RHIT. I have been working at ECU Medical Center for 27 years, where I am a manager in the HIM department. I love leading and developing my team to deliver the best services to our patients, clients and customers. Besides my career in Health Information Management, I am also an entrepreneur and a poet. I am the CEO of a new business called, Hello Beautiful By J, where I share my passion for fashion and home decor. I also enjoy writing poetry and I have received an Editors Choice Award for outstanding achievement in poetry from poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry for my poem, “Sad”. I aspire to be a successful entrepreneur of many businesses and inspire others to never give up on their dreams. I believe that anything is possible with hard work and determination. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, who support me in all my endeavors. If I can do it, they can too.
