I was born and raised in southern California, enjoying all it had to offer. I have one son, who is a brain injury survivor. He is the most positive person I know and his goal is to encourage others. I was able to study physics at Cal State Fullerton and had an interesting career that crossed many industries including defense, medical equipment development and fingerprint identification systems. Upon retirement I moved to the beautiful northern California town of Paradise, where life is slower and people are truly good neighbors. In 2018 the Camp Fire claimed my home and my community. I moved back to southern California to live with my son and help with his care. I enjoy writing stories more than poetry and love to travel. Life is an exciting adventure.
