Venus Galo

Venus Galo is an aspiring poet born and raised in Cebu, Philippines. She spent her primary education in Magay Elemetary School, secondary education at Compostela Antional High School, and tertiary education at Sto. Tomas College-Danao. Writing poetry used to be so dreading to her back when she was in High School. However, she began falling in love with poetry in her second year at the university as they used to have a Creative Writing subject. The subject itself was interesting, but what made it more interesting was how her former instructor allowed them to express themselves as much as they wanted through poetry despite having had to follow certain themes for every piece. The freedom that she felt every time they had to write poems --- every time she wrote one until now never fails to bring her to a higher and bolder level of herself.
