Analysis of Only Savior
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
He who created and formed you,
He has called you by name as His;
Fear not for He will redeem too,
How dare you in trying to quiz.
When you are passing through waters,
Making a path through the river;
Watching over sons and daughters,
Warmth from fire not to shiver.
When you are walking through fire,
Flames will not burn or consume;
Your faith will help to inspire,
Shielding you from impending doom.
Because He is the Lord your God,
The Holy One and your Savior;
Paid your ransom where you are flawed,
Glory shines upon with favor.
For you are precious in His sight,
And honorable with His love;
Because you remain a delight,
While living your life thereof.
Never fear for He is with you,
Your offspring come from west and east;
From north and south to where they grew,
Returning to attend a feast.
Bring sons and daughters from afar,
Gather together not withheld;
Let the Lord in healing a scar,
Iniquities to be dispelled.
Everyone who is call by His name,
As formed for His glory as made;
We are created to proclaim,
With a faith that is not afraid.
