Analysis of Resurrection Guarantee
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Christ has been raised from the dead,
The first fruits that fell asleep;
A resurrection being fed,
For followers of His sheep.
For as by a man came death,
Man resurrected from the dead;
Given new life and new breath,
Awaken out of his bed.
For as in Adam all die,
Through Christ be made alive;
From earth will be saying bye,
Unto Heaven will arrive.
But each in his own order,
Christ is being the first fruit;
Will be passing the border,
Paying the Lord a tribute.
Then comes the end of the earth,
And delivers the Kingdom;
Now gone to allow new birth,
The Father uses wisdom.
Authority and power,
Putting foes under His feet;
Although not knowing what hour,
The last foe will have defeat.
God puts all in subjection,
Under His feet a footstool;
If they have a rejection,
To God and His golden rule.
When all things have been subdued,
Then the Son is subjected;
Reign of His kingdom be ruled,
His followers adopted.
