Analysis of Life Through You
Zavier Davis 2009 (Cinncinati OH)
Seeing your beauty, I'm easily charmed
Together our obstacles lay unarmed
Who knew this spark would turn into a blaze?
How could a man like me avert his gaze?
My mind scrambles, my words are loose
My thoughts misbehave, you easily seduce
The untamed thought that come to mind
Through your eyes, life I find
We touch, we see, I fill with lust
Yearning for a kiss, I know I must
Without you I mourn and dread
Longing to see your face ahead
I watch you fly, soar like a dove
For you, make me comprehend love.

About this poem
I wrote this to a significant other and realized it was good. I just want others to see it.
