Analysis of Praising His Works
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Praise the Lord with your whole heart,
And give thanks unto the Lord;
With everyone to impart,
Show He is loved and adored.
Great are the works of the Lord,
Studied by all take pleasure;
The wondrous deeds to afford,
Delighting in His treasure.
Such splendor and majesty,
Beauty endures forever;
Constructed with modesty,
Gracefulness that won’t sever.
Wondrous works be to think of,
For His mercy is gracious;
Such a display of His love,
The landscaping is spacious.
He provides food who revere,
Mindful of His covenant;
And are righteously sincere,
With the Lord are intimate.
His power shown unto all,
To give an inheritance;
As long as they do not fall,
Into Satan’s arrogance.
His works are faithful and just,
Serious in His commands;
His precepts that you can trust,
Judgment within His hands.
Faithful uprightness performed,
To His people redemption;
Salvation that has transformed,
To whom resists temptation.
Fear is the start of wisdom,
All who will practice His Word;
Has access to His Kingdom,
And doing what they have heard.
