The Desire
Humans occasionally claim to love themselves
We say it to mask our sadness of not being wanted.
The Sensation of being desired
The Desire to be loved
A tiny white lie
Fear of Fire
Afraid to give in
Pretend to be great
Life akin to a candle whom burn itself to provide light to others while you remain in the dark
Broken & Torn apart
Wandering about around trying to disguise your loneliness.
&
Forgetting to remember that life is too short.
Open Heart & Open Eyes
Be wary, scared of loneliness
opening your heart
to the wolf in sheep’s clothing
Only a person who risk is free
Is there Joy beyond your name?
