She died In My Mind

I loved her, yet time passed and she died
Her body however, was never found.
That's because she died in my mind
She lives, but not in my life

Poets say eyes resemble the blue sky
They can shine, yet sometimes they cry
When a heart breaks,
the eye rains;
Sometimes a drizzle or maybe pouring rain.
Yet, my eyes have never seen a cloudless sky
for a long time
Not because she left, but because she died

You were the sun that shined my days
Yet now you're the pouring rain
And it is sad the fact that
I was always the sunflower.
Rain is beautiful and still so are you
But I can't tolerate the drops of dew on my petals

You died, a star burned who shined the brightest
You died, but our beautiful memories still remain.
