Passivity

Each day I commit to a productive day,
Wasting away in prayer I don't say,
To continue making a living with less toxic ways,
Only to find myself in the cusp of being homeless anyways,
Derived from perseverance and quality of character,
Although, that's what I was told so I don't know anymore,
Seeking to participate without restraint in my words,
Instead faced with fear to produce my own curse words,
So passivity has become my own glory of unknown verse,
Returning to repeating a religious tradition I didn't care for before,
Amazing how life slams in your face,
To show that I didn't matter even with what I'd do remain,
So a smile to politeness shows less pain,
Because even I knew that we all will die one day,
So the imposing beliefs of another isn't freedom,
When neglect of another's own speech is loss of a willingness to be a part in,
The unity of how we expressly show without loss to our freedom,
In my own words without anyone's else's opinion.
